Timers, screen shakes & resolutions
Since last time we added back the timer and a screen shake - this is something to show off in next post because I need to find out how to make GIFs in a good resolution :)
Also, soon after last post, I made a decision to change the resolution of the game, but to keep the familiar limited color palette and antialiased shapes that blend into the background.
This is also the moment where I decided to work on sprites as they are final-cut, which proved to be a bit difficult because I counted exactly 63 sprites for boxers alone that would be set into 7 1k sprite maps. Since we still want that strong shadow in the characters, we should see how we can do it in a normal amount of time but make it still look good.
And of course, there is a lot of work to be done on side characters, backgrounds and UI elements to make everything fit together. We'll get there, though!
